The Episode

The fight between good and evil is as old as the ages, but who started it? Who’s winning? It feels like the good guys are losing the fight lately, but what are the origins of evil? What roles do free choice, reincarnation, the ego, and the mundane world play in its development? How do we pick our battles, do the right thing, and remain hopeful even when things are at their darkest?

This week Jost and Leon shine some light into the darkness for an unexpectedly entertaining look at evil. In the process they cover the afterlife (and the before-life), limbo, quantum entanglement, emptiness and form, waves and particles, and most importantly - how to fight evil by making our bodies, minds, and spirits stronger.

In this episode Jost gets into the yin and yang of good and bad, and the fact that they are two sides of the same coin. Evil does not exist in the spirit world, but rather it’s something that is acquired here in the physical realm; you can’t be evil unless you’ve experienced life on earth first, and therefore everything we do here matters. We are here to expand, to follow the way, and live in accordance with our nature, and evil intent is a result of resisting these things, resisting the tao, and trying to control others. Jost also touches on the dangers of getting entangled in the normal world and the downwards spiral of negativity, and how the past few years has introduced us to a new battleground: immunity. Jost and Leon also talk about the correlation between movies and our perception of life, the crushing mundanity of shopping malls, and how to avoid getting caught up in the periphery.

We have no choice but to trust in balance. Don’t get entangled, focus instead on what you can create. What we’ve been experiencing lately is the starting point for something totally new so stick to your idea, stick to your guns, and stick to who you are. Spiral up!
